The Clarus Networks Group
The Brief
The Clarus Networks Group specialises in offering managed networking solutions to connect businesses with their teams across the world, no matter how remotely located they are. Clarus uses low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites and wireless mobile technology to deliver a lightning fast connection to anywhere, from vessels in the middle of the ocean to mountain rescue teams on operation.
Perceptive’s brief was to maximise visibility and build awareness of Clarus as a satcoms and telecoms leader, covering a range of sectors and with a deep industry expertise.
Our Approach
Clarus has a wide offering and operates in many different sectors, so Perceptive designed a communication strategy which covered priority sectors and markets, with all activities advancing strategic business objectives.
Showcasing the power of Clarus technology through key milestone projects which resulted in broader coverage, including Clarus’ work to install the first high speed satellite internet on the remote island of Papa Stour, in Shetland. Perceptive supported Clarus with managing a broad range of stakeholders, ensuring Clarus quotes were front and centre. The complex technology was brought to life by showing the impact of the technology on people and businesses on the island, resulting in high quality coverage in The Evening Standard and BBC.
Positioning the Clarus leadership team as expert voices in both Scottish Business and key trade targets, both commenting on tech or policy updates and sharing insightful opinion articles.
Demonstrating the company culture and creating team pride by celebrating new hires, offices and developments, tailoring press releases to specific audiences.
